Hi There, My name is Monique. As the founder of Equineistic NT, I am incredibly proud of the unique and experiential Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) programs that we offer.
Growing up in the Northern Territory, in and around Katherine area, has given me a deep appreciation and love for this unique and beautiful place. My personal and professional experiences have equipped me with valuable skills and knowledge to help others through EAL.
As someone who has always had a deep connection with horses, I am passionate about sharing the transformative power of EAL with others. Horses have helped me through tough times and contributed to my personal growth, and I believe they can do the same for others. Witnessing clients develop deeper presence, awareness, and connection with themselves and the world around them through EAL is truly fulfilling.
Maintaining professional knowledge and registrations is crucial to me, and I hold certifications such as First Aid Certificate, Mental Health First Aid, National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Clearance, Police clearance, Working with Children's Card (Ochre Card), Mandatory reporting, and cultural awareness. In addition, I am a Mind Blank, Tuning into teens, and love bites facilitator.
My journey has taught me that true and lasting change comes from being open, curious, and authentic. I believe that everyone deserves a chance to thrive and live their best life, and I am committed to helping individuals, families, and organizations achieve their goals through EAL.
I am dedicated to ethical and sustainable practices, prioritising the wellbeing of our horses and the natural environment in all that we do.
I am honoured to be a certified Equine Assisted Learning Practitioner with the Equine Assisted Psychotherapy Institute and to offer customized EAL programs.
I look forward to helping you on your journey towards healing and growth.
Hey there! I'm Digger, the slightly visually challenged 16-year-old rookie from Ngukurr. Strolling into Katherine five years back, I'm now feeling ancient at 56 in human years! Sometimes, I get a bit jumpy if I can't see what's going on, but hey, who wouldn't? And let's talk about carrots... they're my jam! I've eaten so many carrots, I think I'm starting to look like one! I'm excited to meet you!
We respectfully acknowledge and honour the Dagoman, Jawoyn and Wardaman People of the Katherine region and recognise the continuation of culture, connection to lands, water and country. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and future.
We committed to embracing diversity. We welcome all people irrespective of ethnicity, lifestyle choice, faith, sexual orientation, gender, and gender identity.
