Hello! My name is Monique, and I am a Certified Equine-Assisted Learning Practitioner from the Equine Psychotherapy Institute (2024). I support individuals through social-emotional learning, psychoeducation, and personal and professional development, with the assistance of horses and cows.
I am a Women’s Circle, Mind Blank, Love Bites, and Tuning into Teens facilitator. I hold and maintain First Aid, Mental Health First Aid, National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Clearance, Police Clearance, a Working with Children Card (Ochre Card), Mandatory Reporting, and Cultural Awareness.
My professional experience has been in community services specifically domestic and family violence, child and family well-being, and mental health. However, I have also lived and worked on the land in agriculture and with horses and cattle.
My personal and lived experiences further enrich my understanding of mental health, a topic I am truly passionate about. I am committed to ongoing professional development and am currently studying counselling to enhance my skills.
I am excited to offer you experiences in nature, where horses and cows support us in building safe relationships and celebrating your unique qualities. Empowering you to embrace your authentic self, fostering awareness and equipping you with tools to navigate life’s challenges.
I strive to help you feel safe, supported, confident, capable, and excited about your journey while assisting you in achieving your goals.
I invite you to our beautiful property, where we provide services that are ethical, accessible, client-centred, professional, creative, and, most importantly, fun!
Let’s embark on this journey together—I look forward to meeting you soon!
Hey there! I'm Digger, the slightly visually challenged 16-year-old rookie from Ngukurr. Strolling into Katherine five years back, I'm now feeling ancient at 56 in human years! Sometimes, I get a bit jumpy if I can't see what's going on, but hey, who wouldn't? And let's talk about carrots... they're my jam! I've eaten so many carrots, I think I'm starting to look like one! I'm excited to meet you!
We respectfully acknowledge and honour the Dagoman, Jawoyn and Wardaman People of the Katherine region and recognise the continuation of culture, connection to lands, water and country. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and future.
We committed to embracing diversity. We welcome all people irrespective of ethnicity, lifestyle choice, faith, sexual orientation, gender, and gender identity.
